What Is Cantine Aperte?

This is the event through which the Wine Tourism Movement opens the doors of its member wineries for tours and tastings. In Friuli-Venezia Giulia, it is organized by the regional chapter. Here, it means spending a few hours among the vineyards and in the winery with the people who work there every day, and tasting the wines of the Colli Orientali right where they’re made.

Why Visit Us

Find out what people are saying about us—maybe they'll convince you, too.
I went with a couple of friends for a simple wine tasting, and I came home with two bottles of Friulano and a big smile on my face. Mara and Nicola are such genuine people; they make you feel like a guest in their home, not just another customer to be dealt with. It was one of those days you remember—and that make you want to come back.

I’m not a wine expert, but I spent an afternoon there that I’d do all over again tomorrow. Nicola knows how to talk about what he does without boring you, and you understand everything without feeling like you’re in school. Mara welcomed us with an attention to detail that’s immediately apparent. Highly recommended.

Nicola is always such a welcoming host, and you can really see and feel the care and passion that goes into everything he does.
The new location is beautiful and definitely worth a visit, and the wines are excellent, of course. Highly recommended!
