OUR WINES
Only wines to drink.

We dedicate our wines to those who love every moment, celebrate special occasions but choose to be happy today.

Our wines from Friuli

We have been caring for native (and non-native) grape varieties in the Colli Orientali del Friuli consortium for over a century, passionately making more than ten varieties of Friulian wines in the Ipplis and Montsclapade area.

From the marriage of terroir with the skilled hands of local winemakers, cosmopolitan wines are born that are rich in history, memory and culture, and that taste of authenticity and genuineness.

AWARD WINES.
Pignolo: awarded Quattro Viti from 2018 to 2023

If it were a book it would be Alessandro Baricco's Mr Gwyn. He's a bit of a handful in the vineyard and in the cellar, but, after a long barrique maturation, Pignolo can tell the story of the Friuli of the Colli Orientali with a touch of unexpected magic and also conquers the four screws of the Guidae Vitae 2023.

Friulian white wines

The best-known wines of Friuli Venezia Giulia are certainly the whites, including the Friulano, with its fascinating history of contention, Ribolla Gialla, in both still and sparkling and the Malvasia, whose vines run along the Friulian hillside to the Trieste Karst and the Istrian peninsula.

It is also interesting to note that some native grape varieties, such as the Pinot Gris and its consanguineous Pinot Blanc have integrated perfectly within the regional viticulture; the former developing sapidity and mineral notes given to it by ponca, the latter taking on such elegance and refinement that it does not need any varietal cutting.

Another species adopted from our land is the Sauvignon Blanc, which is now confused with native Friulian grape varieties since it has become part of the regional tradition.

Friulian red wines

Sometimes we forget, however, that among the typical wines of Friuli-Venezia Giulia there are also some reds, which are generally less well known than the whites, but which have nothing to envy their row neighbors.

Among the indigenous Friulian wines grown in our lands we can certainly mention the Schioppettino, which with its ruby-colored coat overwhelms us with hints of berries and a hint of pepper; the Pignolo, with its impenetrable color that hides a perfect balance between sapidity and glycerine; and finally the Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, a lingering wine with soft tannins and marked savoriness.

Among the more than 70 hectares belonging to our winery, we can find along with native grape varieties, also cultivations of Merlot and of Cabernet Sauvignon, which give birth to the wines of the same name. In the case of Merlot we will have a nice red wine with a round taste, which is easily loved by everyone; on the other hand, as for Cabernet Sauvignon, we will be faced with a wine with controlled tannin and balsamic freshness.
