Cantine Aperte is the wine and food event organised by Movimento Turismo del Vino with the aim of promote wine culture through visits to the places of production.
It returns this year with its 30th edition on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 May 2022.

Cantine Aperte dish proposed by "Mimì Street Catering":
- Meatballs of Friulian Limousine meat from the Bergamasco breeding farm, Spessa di Cividale;

Both proposals are gluten free
At the end of a guided tour of the winery, we will recount five vintages of the legendary treasure of the Friulian hills, Pignolo wine. We will retrace the causes that were driving this grape variety to extinction, the push for its preservation and its modern revival.
The experience will be accompanied by products from the nearby area.
2 km walk to take a closer look at the vineyards, immerse ourselves in the woods and better understand the importance of their balance. From the winery we will descend through the rows, touch the Ponca - the typical soil of the Friulian hills - and arrive in the woods. Here, surrounded by nature and accompanied by the buzzing of nearby beehives, we will taste 3 wines and talk about the environment, biodiversity and sustainability.
The experience will be accompanied by products from the nearby area.
In case of bad weather, the hike will be cancelled.
